Terms of service.

1. Who this is for

Likertly is a white-label self-screening platform for coaches, therapists, counsellors, HR professionals, and other practitioners who want to send validated psychological screening instruments to their own clients under their own brand.

By signing in, you confirm you are using these tools in a professional capacity and that you understand they are screening instruments, not diagnostic tools. Clinical judgment remains your responsibility.

2. Subscription & pricing

The tiers are:

• Solo — for individual practitioners (up to 5 active clients).
• Practice — for established practices (up to 20 active clients).
• Agency — for multi-practitioner clinics and HR teams (unlimited clients, custom domain, multi-seat).

Currency is set by the site you sign up on (.co.za for ZAR, .com for USD; the USD figure is shown for reference and the actual charge is in ZAR via PayFast). Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually (annual is ~17% cheaper). You can cancel any time; access remains until the end of your paid period.

3. How clients work

Clients are not users. They do not create accounts and do not have logins. You add a client (name + email), pick a test, and the system generates a private one-time-use link that you send them — directly via the built-in email, or by copying the link.

When the client completes the test, you see their results in your dashboard. The link expires after one use. Clients have no ongoing relationship with us.

4. Data handling

You are the data controller for your clients' responses. We are the processor. We process this data only to provide your dashboard and the screening functionality — we do not sell, share, or analyse it for any other purpose.

Under POPIA (and equivalents like GDPR), you must have a lawful basis for collecting screening data from your clients. The platform supports your obligation but does not relieve you of it.

We retain client responses tied to your account so you can review history. You can delete a client (and all their assignments) at any time. You can also request full account deletion by emailing info@likertly.com.

We use Resend for transactional email and PayFast for payments (when active). These providers have their own privacy policies.

5. White-labeling & branding

Practice and Agency tiers let you set a business name, logo, and brand colour that appear on the test-take page your clients see. Don't use trademarks or imagery you don't have rights to. We may suspend accounts that misrepresent credentials or impersonate other practitioners.

6. Acceptable use

• Use these tools in a professional capacity. Don't resell raw access to the platform.
• Don't send screenings to people who haven't consented or aren't your clients.
• Don't scrape, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the scoring algorithms or UI.
• Honour critical-item flags (e.g. PHQ-9 self-harm). The dashboard surfaces these so you can follow up — that's a duty-of-care signal, not a recommendation to escalate to us.

7. Clinical disclaimer

The screening instruments are provided as-is for use by qualified practitioners. They are validated tools, but their results are screening signals, not diagnoses. We make no warranty about their applicability to any specific client and accept no liability for clinical decisions made on the basis of any score. Final clinical responsibility rests with you.

8. Termination

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms (impersonation, abusive use, payment failure that goes unresolved, etc.). On termination, you can export your data within 30 days; after that it is deleted.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be notified in the dashboard. Continued use after a material change constitutes acceptance.
